  1. Been using xmedia recode for a while without any problems but now the preview screen shows up in greyscale. I've tried using different versions and either it's the same problem or there's no preview at all. vlc works fine with full colors, as does other video editors like avidemux and vegas pro.

    5600X with a 3090 ti, if that's relevant to the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

    With all video files? Load one of the problematic videos, right click the preview,
    select video, take a screen shot showing the info and post it here

    Here you go. Yes all files, some also play very slowly in the preview window.

    Look in preferences/decoder. If there is nothing obvious there, I'm out of idea's
    The default for H.264 should be LibAV
