I have a copy of Falling Down that my Bro just bought. One side is
widescreen and the other is standard (full screen). The widescreen
can be ripped, but when I put the dvd in (my computer) on the standard
side, my whole system freezes. It's like the player is trying to no avail. No ripper can get at it and it won't play with windvd either. Is there some new copy protection being put on these things. I have to ctrl alt del to reboot and sometimes it's froze so hard I have to go to the reset button. I would really like to rip the full screen
Anyone

wut's wrong w/ the widescreen...the widescreen preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio...
fullscreen cuts off the sides of the movie, so you're not gonna be watching the same thing as in the movie theater
