    I installed the Eclipse Temurin version of Java to get BD3D2MK3D to work, but now VLC can't find Java?

    Did you install the right version-32 or 64 bit.

    Install both versions then.

    Now VLC just force closes instead of throwing a 'couldn't find Java' error.

    Not sure how that applies to Temurin? Even the oldest of those releases I can find postdates that thread.

    Also not sure how someone updated to 3.0.17, and my 3.0.16 informs me I'm up to date.
