Aegisub video preview not working, all is black, no matter format

Hello guys, I'm trying to do subtitle on a video for a freelance job, and I can't manage to see the video itself, the screen is black, no matter the resolution, format, and codec used

I've tried 4k .mov, 1080p .mp4, hvenc 264, hvenc 265

I also installed the 64 bits latest version from the trunk
I also installed Mediainfo_gui

all they have in common is the framerate which is 23.976

Audio does work
but got no success in all of those attempts, if anyone can help me, I would be so glad!

(found the solution, it was a newbie mistake)

Sorry, I'm still learning this program, I had a vicious habit to press space to play the video on other programs, and space just plays the audio without playing the video, I just saw that there were a tiny play button under the video

Can I change the space bar action to activate that instead?
