limited MPD?

Hello, just wondering does anybody know if it is possible to download better quality than the MPD is limited to? As you can see in the following MPD it only allows up to 540p in the internet browser on PC, but can happily cast in full HD from the app to my tv.

Did you try changing to a different browser ... say Edge?

Cheers for the reply but unfortunately tried that an and get the same as chrome, also tried Firefox with the same outcome.

from your own testing i think you can see you need to get the mpd from something else...
Maybe Edge..??
because thats what gives 1080p that you tested right?
or maybe i misred

You are correct that I need to get the mpd from another device but that's the part I'm struggling with. Edge I've tested it and it has the same output as chrome. Its the app where I was able to cast in full HD.

How did you ascertain the app contained a full HD mpd? Is it possible that the app had the same lower resolution mpd and the device, to which you casted, did an up conversion?

To be honest I was just guessing that the app contained the full HD MPD. I assumed that my TV wouldn't be capable of upscaling that well. You are probably correct with the TV doing a conversion. Sorry pretty new to this world.
