    I tried to convert the MP3 sound from the AVI file to PCM...... so that it can be converted to a VCD but it says Decompressor Error.. Using Virtual Dub 4.10 latest build. Advise ?? Some AVI files when I try to play it will not play and says no codec found or available.. Yes I have installed Divx 3.11, 4.11, 5.01 Divx... still not go.. Help

    It seems likley that this is caused by the audio track actually being dolby ac3 compressed. Try using BeSweet (<---tools) to extract the audio and convert to .wav format.
