    Hey guys,
    Everytime I try to load a VCD in PowerDVD, WMP or WinDVD...all I get is a fast forward scratchy audio and no/grainy/scracthed video. I already tried getting the mpeg2 decoder and it didn't help. I have Win2k, with DirectX 8.1 installed and DIvx5.
    And I know it isnt the file being corrupted either..because a friend has the exact same computer I do, and he can play the file fine.

    it is a .mpeg file btw

    Please help!!!!!
