    i once had batch script for this and i losted it. would love to have it again but i cant find it anywhere.

    If you're unsuccessful in finding or re-creating the script, there is such program as MKV Optimizer which will do what you're asking for albeit in a graphical user face rather than script. It can bulk do it also.

    i didnt find old mkvmerge one but managed to make working for mkvproedit (included also in mkvtoolnix)

    for %%z in ("*.mkv") do mkvpropedit.exe "%%z" ^
    --edit track:v1 --set flag-default=1 --set language=und ^
    --edit track:a1 --set flag-default=1 --set language=eng

    Thank-you for the mkvproedit code - I had no idea it could be used to edit mkv files
    I had 100+ files that I wanted to change the default subtitles from Danish to English and it only took minutes.
