  1. I am using AnyDVD and ImgBurn to backup a DVD. However the resulting ISO and MDS file, when played on MPC-HC has no menu structure, whereas the original DVD does.

    I can't remember having to do any special to preserve the DVD menu before, is there a special technique?

  2. I'd recommend using DVD Decrypter instead of ImgBurn to rip the DVD

    Use CloneDVD2 for this and tick option Preserve Menus.

    Save as disc image and have an image program read the image as if it was reading the real disc, This is the best way to have an exact copy of the disc on hard drive.
