    Hello,
Sometimes I have to hard-burn a subtitle into a movie or video clip.
To edit the subtitle I use "Subtitle editor". When finished editing, in the same program I convert-save the .srt file to "Advances substation alfa" (.ass file), it looks nicer when hard-burning it into the video, I use "Handbrake".
Color of the subtitle is white.
Now there are some places I want to place some padding under certain lines, to make them more visible - contrasty to the background, but I do not know how to do it with the two tools mentioned above.
Can you help me with this, or where to find how to do it.
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks
