    Which file system is used by the pioneer standalone recorder on a DVD-RW?
    Is it .vob or .mpg? 3 or 4 1-Gb files or a lot of small ones?
    Is it possible to convert the movie with flask or virtualdub into divx like ordinary DVD, if I want to keep it on a much cheaper media (cd-r)

    use a dvd authoring tool and it will make a working dvd-video for you.
