  1. Hi

I'm trying to mux a TS file with a SRT subtitle & get this message while muxing:

Warning: PGS might not work without HDMV descriptors.

After Muxing there is no subtitle there!

What's going on? Is this a bug? The subtitles is NOT a PGS?

    I'm very confused.

    hanks for your help.

Try latest nightly build. At the "General" tab, be sure "Generate HDMV compatible TS" is checked.

  3. Hi Ennio,

Ok, i checked it, now i get a ts file, but not with srt file but with PGS.

And the "forced only" in the "default track" tab didn't work too for me. Nothing changed in Metatext below when i click the checkbox.

TS does not support srt, so tsMuxer converts to PGS.
When authoring (UHD)BD, checking "Forced only" makes tsMuxer only mux individually force-flagged subtitles within a PGS stream, and set it as default. To my knowledge, this can't be done for a standalone TS. Your subtitle source is srt, which officially does not carry "forced" metadata.

Is there a specific reason why you wouldn't use another container?

  5. My OLED does not supported Dolby Vision mkv files, but when I mux these mkvs to ts with tsmuxer then it can be played.

Which format I can also test?

I understand. Maybe the TV supports MP4? Which can carry both single- and dual track Dolby Vision and also supports srt subtitles.
Remuxing any Dolby Vision source into MP4 does have some snags. Doing every step manually can proof tricky if you're new to it. In which case I suggest taking a look at very helpfull Dolby Vision scripts, written by somebody at the MakeMKV forums.

Main Dolby Vision thread is here https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=126553#p126553

You'll find the link "DoVi Scripts" in the signature of user RESET_9999.
