Question abot some TV series

Hello,
Well, this will be a strange question, so first I would like to appologize, and I'll try.
Yesterday night was broadcasted a TV series which we like to watch, and there was a power failure. So we watched only the beginning, and at power resume could watch the second part. I do not remember name of the series, which season or episode. I'll try to describe parts I remember. if you please.
A criminal which kidnaped a 12 year old girl wants the lady-detective to tell the truth - that she hit him with an iron bar, broke his knee, some ribs and his eye, while he was handcuffed.
Then power went off, when it came back, we saw only the end, where he forces the detective-lady to play with him russian roulete with a gun and finaly he shot himself in fron of her.
If you can point what tv series it is, I may try to find it on the internet and maybe download to watch the whole episode.
Again I ask your forgivness if its not the right place to ask, but I will be most thankfull for an answer.

Sounds like Law and Order Special Victims Unit season 14 finale.
