I have a movie where a audio track is DTS encoded, but my TV doesn't support this codec. So I want to convert it to AC3.
Yesterday I downloaded XMedia Recode and tried to convert the track, without modifiying the video and other audio tracks and keeping the subtitles.
But somehow, the program stops after a few megabytes and converts only half a minute or so. After that, it says, the media file was successfully created, but it's only a fraction of the movie. And the encoding screen doesn't show any progress, it always stays at 0% and the file size at 22 MB or so. The movie itself is 43.3 GB in size.
I don't know what to do anymore, any help is greatly appreciated.
