re problem playing a dvd

Yes exactly the same thing happens VOB 5 plays for a few minutes then sticks, VOB 6 onward just start at the place VOB 5 sticks at

Vob 5 should not even be involved in what I'm asking.

Copy & paste vob 6 into its' own folder.
By itself.
Then play it with VLC.

It means the vob is permanently damaged and that's all it will shows since the counter moves.

I agree with johnsO too much damage.

If you are familiar with ffmpeg you could try the second code I posted.
The worst is that it might not fix the .vob.
If you haven't worked with ffmpeg then it takes a while to learn.
I'm still learning ffmpeg.
This is an example & it only took 3 minutes & my computer is slow.

I will defo try that, used it a couple times before with good results. Tried dvd shrink and clone dvd 2 but neither worked
