  1. Not sure if this question goes here at all.

I am looking for a software to record that supports x265 codec and provides an output in the best quality but that keeps in mind the output size too. I have seen many encodes of x episode of x show on the web, with qualities that are indistinguishable but with one with 800mb per episode while the other with 200mb or so.

I am using bandicam to record and while it supports x265 codec and the quality is great, the output size is far too big, 3x times more than it should be. It has a quality option but it gives a vague option to choose from 10 to 100 (how am i even supposed to know which gets me the best quality at the lowest size?).

Instead of record with bandicam and then try to reduce the size with handbreak or FFMPEG, i am looking for a new software that can record with great quality while keeping the size as small as possible without compromising quality to save time.

Any suggestion for a software that records screen to get the best possible result at the smallest possible size?
