The Steam Deck in portable mode has a max resolution of 720p. That looks good on the Steam Deck but bad on a TV for triple A PC games. So I was thinking I could instead use a VR headset with the SteamDeck for 2D games which gives you the equivalent of a 100" or larger screen but I assume because the actual lenses are small then the picture will look similar or better than it does on the Steam Deck because a picture's quality looks better the smaller the physical screen size is. Thoughts and what headset would you recommend for the best picture quality and comfort?
My thinking is that the Steam Deck and VR headset or AR headset such as Nreal Air will be a good alternative to an expensive monitor and gaming PC due to graphics card still being overpriced due to the shortage.
