mpv player is no longer able to stream from YouTube

Some days ago, streaming (and also downloading) with yt-dlp stopped working here, I could use some help to find a solution.

Maybe related, about the same time other Google services like Search and Translate started to make problems, slow loading or no loading at all.

Can you please give a youtube url that has this challenge .... unable to be downloaded by yt-dlp.

Silly question, did you try using headers in your yt-dlp call?

Looks like some kind of network issue on your side (or isp)

do you have the same issue when using a vpn?

All Google services either load extremely slow or don't load at all, it started about a week ago and happens on all of my devices. With a VPN, it works fine, what does that mean?

if it works fine with a vpn, it could be an issue with a local google server or a local dns or a lot of things
is it still slow if you change your dns server to something else?
like 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9

I called my ISP, and they said that the problem is known and lies at Google in my Region.

I'm currently downloading, after that I can try changing the dns server, I don't use the default but had changed it to I think 1.1.1.1.
