i got a question i have a 200mb movie in avi, 325mb movie in mpeg, and a 421mb movie in mpeg is it possible to fit them all to compress them down to another format to make it smaller without losing quality? like divx or asf becasue i want to make a vcd with them all on one disk is it possible? I've done it before but it lowers the quality like heck it gets all boxy

When making a VCD, the size (MB) of the mpeg is not issue, the time it runs is. You can fit 80min on an 800MB disk (1min=10MB). My suggestion is to convert the avi and mpg's to VCD compliant mpgs (read the help guides to do this).
If you are just looking to store the files on CD, then you can try to convert the avi to something else, but converting a compressed file like mpg's into a different compression like DiVX or Asf will make the quality worse. My shameless plug - XavierEnterprises.net
