    Hi guys,
    Just wondering if any of you guys successfully captured the date stamp from the DV?

    Well, I did, but not with Avi-IO or vdub, but I used Edit-DV (from Digital-origin), that captures to quicktime-MOV-files (windows-version of Mac-Software). Then the timestamp and all time-date-information ist present, but not inside an avi-file.

    Thanks for your reply. In other words, with DV we can't get the date stamp to appear on MPEG/AVI right?
