I'm curious if there would be any benefit to using the HDR-1 for capturing VHS? My chain would consist of: Panasonic 1980 S Video Out > Toshiba DVD Recorder HDMI OUT > DataVideo HDR-1. I'm sure there are issues with this workflow, but I'm curious as to what they are. Do any benefits of using the 1980's S Video get negated when using the ES10's HDMI out? Any and all insight would be appreciated.
