I just bought this Clear chick v2.0 capturing device and straight out of the box its been having problems. I captured something and the video is jittery at first then stops but then the jittering happens again. The camera im capturing it from is a Panasonic palmcorder pv-l352dI have no clue on what to do. Attached is a sample video of what is happening

You need a time base corrector. An old Panasonic ES10 or ES15 (about US$100) in passthrough mode will probably fix most of it. You're capture device, though it's easy to use, is going to give less than stellar results in any case.

Clear Click is an infamous POS garbage item, like the Easycaps (aka Easycraps).

Also the camcorder is very low end, Use a high end full size VHS VCR or get a device in between that stabilizes the timing like the a DVD recorder, and yes that capture device is a chinese piece of cr@p, You should be looking into getting a better capture device.
