  1. Hi, I need some help please,
I'm using mkvtoolnix and I'm dealing with adding a dub PCM audio from another source,
and I get the following error message, can I fix it?

The file PCM was not recognized as a supported format (exit code 2).

checking both PCM files with mediainfo,
the first already encapsulated is this:

    Code:
    _ - 3 - PCM, English, 2.0 channels, 24 bits, 48kHz.pcm
    Format : MPEG Audio
    File size : 1.44 GiB
Overall bit rate mode : Variable
    FileExtension_Invalid : m1a mpa mpa1 mp1 m2a mpa2 mp2 mp3

    Audio
    Format : MPEG Audio
    Format version : Version 1
    Format profile : Layer 3
Format settings : Intensity Stereo + MS Stereo / CCITT
    Bit rate mode : Variable
    Channel(s) : 1 channel
    Sampling rate : 48.0 kHz
    Compression mode : Lossy
    Stream size : 1.44 GiB (100%)
while the PCM that does not load is this, with missing info:
    Code:
     - 3 - PCM, Italian, 2.0 channels, 16 bits, 48kHz.pcm
    File size : 980 MiB
while using useac3to to create a FLAC from the PCM, I had no problems at all.

I never did it before, I don't even know how to do it.
anyway I can't cause I have to use one of the original untouched tracks,
one is PCM, that I would like to use, the other is the DTS-MA that instead, works without errors.

  4. Have you used software to decrypt protected Blu-ray? Because mkvmerge only supports unencrypted media, so your files are perhaps encrypted or just corrupted.

I don't know if it's corrupted, eacto does not say anything..
..anyway, they now just told me I can use FLAC instead of PCM, so I'm fine..
    problem solved,, nevermind.. sorry.
