  1. FFMPEG at the moment isn't capable of downloading AES encrypted HLS streamed video, even with me using the direct URL for the m3u8 file as the input to FFMPEG. And yes, I think the key itself is stored as base64 encoded binary string inside the m3u8 file. As such, all FFMPEG needs to do is to read the m3u8 header that contains the key, and perform AES decryption on the video as it downloads it. But unfortunately FFMPEG isn't equipped to do this. Do you know of any software that will do this?

    Well if you know this, have a look then...

    If you wish to be as vague as this, dont expect much help.

    Without the url to the video concerned, we only have your word that it is aes enc hls. And is it Sample-AES or AES-128 ?
