I recording some documentaries with an iptv through vlc, but the final file in FHD is very heavy
would like to know if there is any way for vlc to record and save the files in a smaller size; no need to use a separate editor
please help
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Smaller than what? What do you consider large? (Please reference not just the filesize, but also its running time, so we know proportionately).
