    Hey guys, I need to rip only 2 CD's to mp3 for a friend, searching the net I am not find a good free one "with good reviews", any referrals please?

    I have used EAC (Exact Audio Copy for many years.
    I didn't check but it was free the last time I did.
    I usually rip a CD to .wav & then convert with a different but EAC can convert to .mp3s.
    Even takes code for the .mp3s if you know how to do that.

    CDex also used to be free.
    dbPowerAmp has a free trial.

    So take your pick.

    I figure CUERipper might be easier for newbies to setup and get AccurateRip & CTDB support for verifying rips

    EDIT: and for setting up conversion/encoding
    Put NBC's Ed on Blu-ray!

    Exact Audio Copy (aka EAC) is the best, most accurate solution for extracting the original tracks from the CD and you can even convert them if you wish. But if you are looking for a "one-click" solution, simpler and more user friendly, I recommend AVS audio converter which in the last year has become free. Not bad as a free audio converter.

    The EAC worked easily for me, thanks a million to you and also all the other guys referrals here.
