  1. Hello,

    I have an old Quadro 6000 6GB & Tesla C2075 6GB MAXIMUS in a Z800 PC.
I wonder how faster would be using two Quadro 6000 6GB SLI mode?

My usage is AE video PNG/JPG/TIFF sequence rendering to MJPEG (Motion JPEG) AVI files using PICVideo codec.
I also do video restoration with PFClean
    I also use Cortex 5.

The current setup uses about 10% CPU, 20-30% GPU, the Tesla is used very low, maybe 10% periodically only.

  2. I'm pretty sure the PicVideo MJPEG encoder doesn't use the GPU at all. So SLI won't help with that. I don't know about your other filtering but given the low GPU usage, I doubt SLI will help with that too.

  3. Well I turned on the compute in Bios for the Tesla card, it now is used much more. The usage depends on the effects used. On low effects it can be not used at all.

On Quadro 6000 + Tesla C2075 I get 443W power draw and 6FPS on Cortex 5, with single GTX 660 same 6FPS but power draw is 310W only. After Effects render to JPG file sequence Quadro 6000 + Tesla C2075 I get 405W power draw and time of 1:40HR, with single GTX 660 I get 220W power draw and time of 1:35HR. Seems like GTX 660 performs better less power used. GTX 1660 SUPER would be 2x speed?

CPU usage is about the same, low 10-12% max.
