  1. I am trying to convert an SVCD to a VCD and I have had some minor luck but I am still having problems. I have 3 VCD files, all of them over 700 MB. I have used DVD2AVI for the first part of the conversion but it doesn't seem to be the place where the problems lie. THe first file converted fine, no problems, but when I get to the 2nd and 3rd files, for some reason after being converted w/TMPGENc, they are significantly smaller than the original SVCD files. For example, the SVCD file is 730 MB but after using TMPGEnc, the file comes down to 350 MB. The 3rd file is around 700, but converts down to 500 something MB. I tried the trick w/TMPGEnc and giving the SVCD a header of "VCD" and it worked on my first file, but it's doing the same thing (making a 730 MB file down to a 350 MB file)....I appreciate any help and ask me if you need more information because I don't know what else to give....Thanks!
