    This route is the SAFEST to retain compatibility. If you don't have the latest NERO, you should download it today (Ver 5.5.8.2) and upgrade.

  7. why must you author with a differant program 1st.

    I rip with DVD decrypter then put the VIDEO_TS and a "made up" AUDIO_TS folder into NERO select DVD Video and burn.Using A PIONEER A04 and it WORKS!!!
    (Well at least it plays on my PIONEER 444 DVD player.}

    Will I get more compatibility using differant PROGRAMS for burning or even differant Brands of Media??????

    if you rip you don't need to author because it is already done...but if you don't have any vobs and ifos you must author.

    spida: www.vcdhelp.com/author.htm#dvd and also checkout doom9s minidvds guides for more advanced dvd authoring tools like dvdmaestro,scenarist...
