I need some help. On my Win 2000 machine I'm not able to open any MPEG1, or MPEG2 for that matter, files in TMPG. I can on my Win 98SE machine, but not this 2000 machine. I just keep getting the "unknown, not supported" error message.
I've tried increasing the priority of the DirectShow filter in Environmental Settings, but that doesn't make a difference.
Anyone else had this problem. Is it my DirectShow that's causing the problem or is there something I'm overlooking? By the way, it opens fine in VirtuaDub.
Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.
