Hi,
I have several srt files with lines that are often too long, and I would like to batch fix the files forcing the sentence to jump line after 25 characters or so. I found a tool to break/split long line in Subtitle Edit but it often will create a new time code after the split. I just want it to jump the line, like this:
BEFORE:
7
00:01:48,221 --> 00:01:50,923
That sets the world speed record for closure.
8
00:01:51,013 --> 00:01:52,885
Hey.
9
00:01:53,805 --> 00:01:58,095
If you're looking for one of those rave parties,
I'm afraid you're late.
WHAT I NEED:
7
00:01:48,221 --> 00:01:50,923
That sets the world
speed record for closure.
8
00:01:51,013 --> 00:01:52,885
Hey.
9
00:01:53,805 --> 00:01:58,095
If you're looking for one of those
rave parties, I'm afraid you're late.
Can anyone help?

Try this:
Edit>Select all>select lines>autobalance select lines.
I hope it fits your needs.
