I can't seem to get Audio from Kmplayer at all. No matter which Audio Renderer i select. I think it's because i am using headphones from my television that doubles as a monitor. I gave up on this last year. I'm here to try again. Can anyone please offer me advice. I'm tired of using VLC. The Audio works with everything else, Youtube, playing videos with VLC etc. Even when i shut the PC down and turn on Netflix. The Audio im using is Digital Audio (HDMI) although there are other on the PC it's the only one that allows me to plug in my headphones (using a regular headphone jack). Any additional info needed let me know please. Has to be a way to fix this. VLC picks up the stream automatically. Kmplayer doesn't. Thanks.

try this - (right click on Kmplayer) "Main Controls" -> "Audio" -> "Audio Renderer" and set it to "Default Device"

I can confirm this did not work for me. October262. ''Default Device'' in the Audio Renderer select menu was selected by default. I tried all of them.

I appreciate the advice. I really do. It's a new install though. If i plugged my headphones directly into my PC (out from the TV/Monitor) i can hear the sounds from Windows OS but nothing from Kmplayer. Quick recap: No audio from KmPlayer no matter what Audio Renderer i chose. I can hear Youtube. VLC works. I can hear my PC. No audio from Kmplayer. Tried different videos i know have sound. All volumes set to Maximum, no sound from Kmplayer whatsoever.

I found the solution to this issue. If you cannot hear any Audio from Kmplayer you may have more than one Audio Renderer. Which may cause a conflict between renderers. If someone in the future reads this, and this is your issue, try this. #1 Open Preferences #2 Go to Audio Processing #3 Then to Audio Renderer. Deselect Use only in Audio mode (Enabled by Default). Then select Use Internal Audio Renderer (Crossfade). #4 Next go to the bottom (of same dialog box). In green where it says Select the 2nd Audio Renderer if you have more than one (ETC...) is disabled by default. Select the Audio Renderer you wish to use. Close. Restart. Ok so not sure why VLC doesn't have this problem but Kmplayer does. Would be nice if it were changed to be Automatic if there is no sound detected to switch the second Renderer.
