  1. I'm trying to frameserve from VirtualDub to TMPGEnc. I've followed the user guide "How to frameserve using VirtualDub" which includes how to use TMPGEnc.

The problem I have is that when I open the 'video.vdr.avi' file in TMPGEnc I get the error 'could not open, or unsupported'. What am I doing wrong.

    Thanks

    did you try this:

1 - did you install the plugin for TMPGEnc?
2 - when frameserving, try naming your frameserve file: video.vdr not video.vdr.avi

  3. Thanks for the ideas.

A combination of using 'video.vdr' and going back to an older version of VirtualDub (1.4.9) has fixed my problems.

    Thanks again.
