    how can you convert a .html file to a .mpeg or .avi ?

    Do you mean html? Did you download a movie file that was renamed to html? How did you get the file?

    i just got the trail version of swish.
    Trying to convert the .swi file into
    a mpeg or .avi .
    Exporting from SWISH to .avi won't work
    (vob,tmpge cant read the file)
    Is there a other application what can do
    this ?

    can virtualdub read the swich avi?
    if not you could do a screancapture with snagit (avi) and convert that to mpg.

    I tried virtualdub but it doesn’t recognizes the
    SWISH avi file . Is there a setting in virtualdub
    that has to be changed ?
