Hi all Newbie , with a firmware problem.

Hi all new to the site and video in general, Purchased a Panasonic HC-X1500 played around with it last night and had the IR record working but was waiting for SD cards to arrive. Today cards arrived so did the firmware upgrade as suggested from 1.2 to 1.3 but now the IR record will not turn on by the button I dedicated and shows as light grey (not choose able) in the menu.

Is this a known problem with the firmware upgrade, has anyone else had this problem or have I done something else wrong that I don't know of. Haven't actually changed any other settings other than dedicated button 5 to IR record and the firmware upgrade. Frustrated...

G’day, mate!, two things.

1) Can you undo the firmware upgrade?

2) Can you record without the IR?

Thanks jack_666 contacted Panasonic turned out I just needed to get out of auto mode turn everything back on and reassign the button in manual mode. Problem fixed. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
