    I have been using thhis app quite happily for a few weeks and now all of a sudden, when trying to encode any movie file to vcd format, all I can get is audio and no video, if anyone has any ideas pls let me know via here or mail me sandrandave27@btinternet.com!!

    does the movie play in media player? if not, open it in virtualdub, and under file->file properties--this will tell you the codec you need--Nimo or Krystal studios in tools section are good places to start. if it does play, in TMPG, under options, environmental settings, VFAPI plugin, right click to increase the priority of the directshow reader to the highest(1 or 2 will work)
