    i think cd/dvd are the cheapest media storage
    but people says it easily gets scratchs
    if i take good care of my cd/dvd ,
    then is there any chance of getting scratchs with cd/dvd readers/writters??

    There is always the chance of a scratch when handling optical media, if you have a good working player/recorder you shouldn't get scratches from that.
    It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

    Hard drives are cheaper than CD/DVD. And far more convenient. An 8 TB hard drive costs about US$150. 8 TB of DVD (1700 discs) costs about US$425.

    I don't wanna store that much..here in market a blank dvd of 4.7gb cost is.. 15 Indian rupees (around 0.20US dollar)
