    Np's with the conversion but when i am playing the converted output on a standa`lone dvd player it tends to jump or pause only for a slipt 1200th or a second or so.....

    Only guessing but is your Div X NTSC and are you burning to MPEG2 PAL?
    (Or vice versa)
