  2. its probably not a movie file .
Are you converting from divx to vcd, and if so is it the mpg file that gives u no pic or sound? Sounds like its the divx though.
    What's the file size?>

Don't be ripping off my movie ............LOL.....

The Centropy Telesynch version is an SVCD. Is your player capable of playing SVCD's ? Did you burn out the bin/cue with CDRwin ? Or extract the DAT"s and try to re-author it ?

The film is available on a few FTP's as well as off of edonkey's http://sharereactor.com forum

  11. The centropy version I downloaded says it is svcd but shows in Nero as an avi. I am running it through tmpgenc to make sure it is svcd, but the file is going to be like 2.3 gb. How can I split it into disc sized parts?

  12. Spidey: do you have to be running edonkey to use share reactor? I clicked on download but nothing appears to have happened.

  14. Downloading Spider-Man (or any other film, for that matter) is illegal. Perhaps this isn't the place to discuss it. Try the boards at <www.isonews.com>.

  17. Is sharereactor/Edonkey safe? Does it log ip's or anything? Has anyone ever been busted for downloading from there?

  25. Hello there!!!

What U need to do is use dvd2avi to extract the audio from the video & then place your finished files into tmpeg & re-encode it back to vcd its a simple as that!! disk1 & 2 will need to be merged in mpeg tools after encoding! they fit 2gether perfectly without any gap & well your disk 3 will be a 38min vcd which is now the new disk 2.

    what U need....

ISObuster to extract the file to an mpeg to the drive ie spider1.mpg

dvd2avi to seperate the audio from the video..

    here are the settings!!!

1.select track 1 in the audio
    2.channel format is mpegaudio
    3.leave dolby digital as decode
    4.mpegaudio is set to decode
    5.48>44khz leave off

    finally save your project...

next step choose your template in tmpeg!! has to be vcdmpg1 pal at 352*288... U know what I mean

open your video file which is a *.d2v file

open your audio file which will have the extension mpa. to open this U need to look for all files as it wont look properly for the mpa file.

once all this is done U can encode your vcd... there U go! merge your first 2 completed mpegs 2gether in the tools section then burn the finished file to an 80 min cd, the same process applies to disk 3 of the supervcd.

I hope this was what U needed!!!

    Kev!
