  1. Whenever I try to load a clip into Premiere Pro, the video part of it doesn’t load; only the audio does.

    I tried to fix this by going to C:/Program Files/Adobe/Common/Plugins/7.0/Mediacore and then deleting all the files within the folder, and it worked at first but then the problem happened again.

    There are probably some specifics about the clip properties that are coming into play.
    Open the video in mediainfo, put it in text view, and post the info here

    Possibly the program doesn't like Windows Media (wmv9) in AVI files
    I don't have any such files nor do I have Premiere but you could
    Probably convert to an intermediate lossless and use that with A.P.

    For example, open the source in Vdub2,
    https://www.videohelp.com/software/VirtualDub2
    select video/compression/FFmpeg FFV1 compression
    Hit Configure and set it like this. Ok out, File/Save Video,
    save as type avi

    Perhaps somebody else will confirm and/or have other advice
