    Has anyone ripped the Fast and the Furious from DVD to SVCD, cause i want to know what settings u used in tmpeg or cce or whatever u used to get good quality with all the fast action scenes.

    When I make an svcd I always use the same settings for all my movies and they all come out great, even the fast and the furious. My settings are as follows:

    Under the Video Tab
    I use CBR 2000 bitrate +. I usualy use 2300.
    I set them to non-interlaced (progressive).
    motion search to high quality (slow).

    Under the Advanced Tab
    I set the video source to non-interlaced (progressive).
    And I set the Deinterlace filter to Double.
    All the other settings are dependant on the source.
