    Hi All,
    I capture the home video from Sony Hi8 (NTSC) in VirtualDub @ 352x480 (no filters) in raw AVI. I want to know what will be difference, in size, if I were to use Huffy codec. Presently raw AVI is around ~28 GB for 50 min capture.

    I just did Indiana Jones TLC last night (@ 352x480 w/ Huffy) and it was 40 GB for 2 hrs. 6 min....

    The compression ratio depends on the source video. I typically get compression ratios ranging from 1.2:1 to 1.8:1
