I have captured a screen video of my desktop. (I have attached the sample) The video is not 100% crysp, but not bad, it is more or less clear. The problem is: when I upload it to Youtube directly, or I add it to a video editor to make it part of a project, the uploaded / rendered video becomes very blurry. Is there a solution to turn the file attached into a transport format that won't loose quality when editing / uploading?
I recorded this with Debut by NCH software and I can see as well the bitrate is low. You can ask why I did not use OBS studio? That was the first one I tried, but all the settings gave poor results. Even if I set the video to have higher bitrate, in some cases the overall bitrate will still be low in spite of the settings, or it will be high as set, but the video still remains blurry, even on fullscreen mode. I also tried Flashback Express, there the file sizes and bitrates are big, the image is clear, but there are occasional dropouts during recording, so in the end the video is useless. Debut is the only software that gave nice results. That's why I wondered if the output from it could be transformed in a way to retain quality?

When uploaded to stremable for example, the video looks fine

What video editor do you use? You need to check the settings before rendering.
Also, it's time for an upgrade of your PC/laptop. -
I checked the upload but for me it is blurry. I took a screenshot of the difference how it appears to me, sc1 is the one from Streamable, sc2 is the original file played on my computer. They are both sharp in your case? I use Sony Vegas, but I use high bitrate for settings.

Obviously there's some blurriness because of compression, especially when the source is at such a low bitrate.
It's still readable though.
Buy a new computer.
OBS is the best. I don't know which exact settings you used, but these settings shouldn't give "poor results".

The blurriness is from resizing, not compression. Your video is 1366x768. Youtube will resize to one of its standard sizes, 1280x720. Then when you watch the video full screen on your computer it is resized again to 1366x768. That's two resizing operations, each blurring the video.

OBS does not work on my computer fine. Any preset or setting I choose, the resulting file becomes a low bitrate one. Even If I set the bitrate to max, the actual bitrate of the file will be low, and the recording blurry. Check the photo I attached. I used the settings that you suggested, this is what Mediainfo reports of the file:
Complete name : C:\Users\bencuri\Videos\2022-02-15 14-45-04.mp4
Format : MPEG-4
Format profile : Base Media
Codec ID : isom (isom/iso2/avc1/mp41)
File size : 1.74 MiB
Duration : 22 s 734 ms
Overall bit rate : 641 kb/s
Writing application : Lavf58.76.100
The only software that work as should on my computer is Flashback Express, there, when I set the bitrate to high, the file will be large indeed with high actual bitrate, but the problem there is that there are dropouts sometimes when recording.
