I ripped it ok, even converted half of it ok, but the mpg has no sound.

When I ripped the wav with vob2audio WMPlayer would not play the wav file as it said the buffer was not big enough as the wav file was 2.08 Gig.

So I went ahead and converted it anyway assuming it would be ok.

I converted the wav to mp2 to see if the sound file itself was ok and it is as the mp2 did play.

I just don't know what to do now. The only option I can thnk of is to demux the two mpg files I have and then convert all of the wav to mp2 then encode the video only on the rest of the movie and then mux later instead of encoding audio and video together.

This is the first time this has ever happened so I am assuming it is because of the size of the wav file, can anyone help please?

Also what is the best way to convert to mp2? I usually use toolame in TMPGEnc to convert but it won't do this file. Toolame GUI which is my second choice ALWAYS for some reason chooses joint-stereo when I want just stereo.

Would muxxing the AC3 in bbMpeg instead of mp2 be just as good or what? Or should I stick to using mp2?

Help would be very much appreciated, why did this happen anyway?

Thanks to anyone who can help
