I have a PYE Transistor TVC Video Camera.

I'm moving house and wish for it to go to a good home, but unsure on it's value.

I don't know if it's worthy of a museum or if it would be of interest to a collector?

The only reference I can find for it is a similar model, but otherwise I don't know much about it
and wondered if anyone would be able to shed some light on it's potential value or general information?
(I found a thread on https://www.vintage-radio.net talking about it)

As far as I believe I think it was used in broadcasting and made in 1963.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  2. The people to talk to are at https://bttt.org.uk/ they will tell you the history of the camera and any value it has. I used to have one of them many years ago but I don't think they were ever used for commercial broadcasting.

    Brian.
(incidentally, I'm not the Brian on the web site but I know him well - nice guy!)

    Thanks Brian,

I appreciate the link a lot. I'll go and see. Cool to hear you used to have one. My Dad had this given to him when we put cement on our forecourt years ago before we had surviellence for our microwave service centre, so we had it on a tripod recording to catch anyone who might have written their name in the cement or danced about in it. I'll give those guys a shout, cheers!
