There's a shortcut that lets you expand / contract a selected subtitle's start / end point by 100ms but I'd like to know whether we can do the same thing but with the waveform line acting as the guide.
I mainly use this software to correctly place English overlays on top of foregin hardsubbed videos. So currently this is my workflow when I find some mistimed subtitle
1. Place the waveform line ( cyan ) at the exact starting frame of the hardsub
2. Drag the start point of the corresponding softsub to the left to match it perfectly
3. Place the waveform line at the ending frame of this dialogue ( hardsub )
4. Drag the end piont of the softsub to the right
I know that this is not a big deal but when you do it so many times like I do, it gets tiring real quick. So I was wondering whether there's any shortcut that lets you -
place the waveform line anywhere and with one keypress, drag the nearest left / right subtitle ( with reference to this line ) on top of this line.
Thank you.
