I used to easily be able to custom resize the video size in Potplayer for better quality. I'm not talking about the window size, but the actual video size. So decreasing that would give me larger black masking around the video. I know I can change aspect ratio to 0.5 to dcrease the size, but that's too small for my needs (a default 0.75 would be helpful, actually). I want to successfully resize from my usual 1600 x 900 down to 1440 x 810.
When I try to resize now, I get the below message. I've tried turning off the DXVA and/or turning on the Video Transform Filter in all permutations (I'm pretty sure), but nothing helps. Any info appreciated.
