    I am wondering if it is possible to get a DVD player that will do VCD and SVCD for around $70.

    Is there an Apex model for this cheap? Please give me some reccomendations if possible. Thanks alot.

    Pretty close, Wal-Mart (also Wal-Mart Online) has the Apex Ad-1100W for only$73.44! I don't have one myself, but I've heard that they will play almost anything, including possibly a moldy old sock.
