    VSDC editor.

    Title summarizes it all, really. I did to a forum search, but didn't find an answer.
    1. Double click to edit a video segment.
    2. Return back to the top level.
    3. Zoom seems to reset to 100%: I'd like it to stay where it was before I double clicked.
    It's probably a default setting, somewhere, but I'm still overwhelmed by the complexity of things still.

    The better quality NLEs allow for user-defined zoom level presets, as well as keyboard shortcuts for common zoom levels.
