Just take a look at the yt-dlp documentation, you can the find the answers to all your questions there: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp

To download encrypted (and thus unplayable formats) you need --allow-unplayable-formats (or --allow-u). By default yt-dlp picks the best quality, but you can manually find the available qualities with -F and then select the video / audio track you want with -f (quality name/code).

Note though, that this obviously just downloads the encrypted video and / or audio and thus won't directly be playable.

well it isnt because im using it and its fine and so is my pc
